Ratio is a way to get like the fraction of some thing like in one packet there was 3 circles and 1 is blue and the others are pink you would go 1:2 because there are 1 blue and 2 pink. Lets work out what would two packets lets start with 1 packet well we worked that out before but we have to do 2 so we double 1 and double 2 so it would be 2:4 you can do lots of stuff so 3 you would do the same 4+2=6 2+1=3 you get the the pattern.
