The kiwis got the first win for the four nation tournament. We were down at halftime but struck back after the second half we scored but were down by two. 10 minutes to go when Shaun Johnson drop goals and wins for the kiwis. A good start for the tournament beating England 17-16. 

Glowing gym floor in Germany

A school in Germany had a glow in the dark floor and stripes of led lights that show really light and the gym has a basketball court that could never get any futuristic than a glow court. The basketball court can transfer to a tennis court witch would be extremely cool and handy for someone that likes basket ball and tennis. I think that st Mary should have a big gym that has an indoor basketball court that glows personally I think  might not but I wish!!!!!!!.

simplifying fraction

Yesterday i was doing a fraction problem solving with my group and we had to count all of the tents and count the ones that have there lights on. There is 36 tents all together here is and 27 tents that have there lights on . We have to do the fraction of that. So the denomaneter is 36 because it is how much there and the numerator is 27. So Mrs Akkerman told me to simplify the fraction so you go what times tables is in the number like if its 27 9 times 3 is 27 so you write that down close to 27 and try find out some more. Next try find out the times tables for 36 so 6 times 6 and 12 times 3 is 36 so you chose a number from the numbers from the times tabling and and put them together as a fraction.

the catch of the day

Pua cast his line from the dingy it snagged. Straight away, uncle tried to help him tell it in but it wouldn’t budge. Suddenly the shoes turned grey the sea got choppy and a massive pirate ship bubbled up from the depth of the ocean, dwarfing the dingy, we went and had a look but there was nothing but a rocket launcher and it said monster destroyer there must be monsters as soon as i said that a massive crab and ate uncle in one mouthful and the monster was heading to the city but there was no sails so i had to paddle after it in the dingy when i got to the city it was easy to see the crab so i bring out the rocket launcher and shot all of the ammo and it destroyed the crab i get why it’s called the monster destroyed and uncle came flying out and i said does a monster count and uncle said that's the catch of the day

water line week

In water line i learnt that there's only two rivers that give water to the town water supplies and Rotorua  have no filtration because their water is so clean but the water line lady said that  the water tastes different than Tauranga. And that we only drink 1% of water in the world. I did an act and I got Mr drippy. And I enjoyed everything and learnt so so so much and Adrienne was funny and always drink water at the start of lessons.

In maths we do a sheet called Mental maths I have learned that this sign[not on this computer to show you] meant that it is like divided by that is how I answer more questions it was a bis oh moment.

In R.e we have been retelling some of Jesus miracle. You have a buddy and retell it in your book. We are learning about the sacraments Jesus used the sacrament of healing in the story the Healing of the deaf man.

Writing

In writing we have been learning about paragraphs. A paragraph is a block of writing on a topic I now mostly use paragraphs. It is a good and easy thing to to do. Its when there's a topic sentence and all the detail of that topic is under it.

i dont need pactising

In my ikan the question i got stuck on was Write as a fraction five quarters

I figured out that each circle has 4 quarters. But we need to have five and only 4 quarters are in a circle/whole so we have to add another circle. So we shade in one of the quarters of the other circle so that is 5/4 or 1 1/4.
